Dormaa East District Assembly donates chairs and motobikes to support service delivery.
On July 2, 2026, the District Chief Executive of Dormaa East, Hon. Osei Owusu King, together with the District Coordinating Director and Heads of Departments, presented chairs to selected institutions in the district to enhance service delivery. The 100 chairs were a birthday gift from Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II, Paramount Chief of Dormaa Traditional Area and President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs.
DISTRICT MAGISTRATE COURT- WAMFIE
Out of the donation, 50 chairs were distributed to beneficiary institutions, while the remaining 50 were kept for official use at the Assembly. The Wamfie District Magistrate Court was presented with 10 chairs, the Wamfie District Hospital received 20 chairs, and the Dormaa Akwamu Health Centre also received 20 chairs.
DISTRICT HOSPITAL- WAMFIE
The items were received by the Registrar, Hospital Administrator, and Senior Staff Nurse on behalf of their institutions. They expressed gratitude and pledged to use the chairs effectively and maintain them properly.
DORMAA AKWAMU HEALTH CENTER
In a separate development, the Assembly also procured two motorbikes for the Administrator of Stool Lands and the Revenue Unit, funded from its share of Stool Land revenue. Hon. Osei Owusu King urged the beneficiaries to prioritize maintenance, emphasizing that the items were provided to support revenue mobilization and official duties. He expressed optimism that with collective effort, the district will continue to achieve significant developmental gains.
