Other categories awarded aside the first and second runners up, included Best Female Farmer, Best Youth Farmer, Best Poultry Farmer, Best Cashew/Crop Farmer, Best Backyard Farmer, Best Extension Officer and Best Farmer, living with Disability.

In a keynote address by the District Chief Executive on the theme β€œDelivering Smart Solutions for Sustainable Food Security and Resilience” the District Chief Executive, Hon. Emmanuel Kofi Agyeman, emphasized that the Phase II of the Planting for Food and Jobs (PFJ) initiative has been strategically designed to offer resilient and lasting solutions to persistent problems challenging actors in the Agriculture industry to strengthen their efforts, sustain food security and add value for better market.

He therefore called on the farmers and all those involved in the Agri-business sector to involve themselves and cooperate with the Agriculture Department and the Tree Crop Authority in order to harness its full benefits when it kick starts.
