Empowering Staff through Smart Workplace Training at Dormaa East District Assembly

As part of the Office of the Head of the Local Government Service’s initiative to enhance staff competencies and improve efficiency, a team from the Office of the Head of the Local Government Service and e-Solutions Ltd (consultants) visited the Dormaa East District Assembly to train staff on the Smart Workplace platform. This initiative is a significant step towards modernizing and digitizing the Local Government Service’s operations, with the goal of boosting productivity and improving service delivery.

On October 3, 2025, a one-day Smart Workplace training was organized to equip staff with the skills needed to effectively utilize the digital platform for official communication, documentation, and workflow management. Held at the assembly, the training covered essential topics such as account setup, email and document management, and virtual meetings.

The training brought together a diverse group of staff, including the District Coordinating Director, Heads of Department/Units, Administrative and Finance Staff, Planning and Budget Officers, Human Resource Unit, Records Management Unit, and representatives from various departments, including Agric, Works, and Social Welfare.
