The team cleared choked gutters, desilted drains, swept streets and collected refuse to improve sanitation and public health.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.deda.gov.gh\/?attachment_id=2467\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2467\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2467\" src=\"http:\/\/www.deda.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/image-2-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"810\" height=\"728\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.deda.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/image-2-1.jpg 810w, https:\/\/www.deda.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/image-2-1-300x270.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.deda.gov.gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/image-2-1-768x690.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 810px) 100vw, 810px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Addressing participants, DCE Hon. Osei Owusu King said the exercise aligns with Government\u2019s agenda to build a clean and healthy environment. He called on residents to embrace sanitation as a lifestyle and take part in the monthly National Sanitation Day exercises.According to the DCE, desilting gutters will ensure free flow of water, reduce mosquito breeding, and help prevent floods.
